Symbology:
- Silver, clear image of the pure light reflected in the crystal,
symbolizes the purity of intention, in the clear affirmation of full
conscience of rightfulness in actions
- the ivy which, forever green, attaches itself to its death to
the place where it grew the first roots, is a symbol of persistence and
permanent dedication
- vertwas, in the middle ages, the colour of medical doctors’
robes, and was also the colour consacrated to pharmaceuticals, that extracted
the basis of their healing manipulations from the green vegetable
kingdom.

Description: Shield barred and counterbarred of sable and silver.
Symbology: The bars suggest the compartments adecuate to the
ordered and systematic gathering of massive copies of documentation, in
order to guarantee, in the long run, its easy consultation. The tinctures
mean:
- Silver: the richness of the documental assets that were
gathered
- Sable: the sense and the critical judgement needed to the adecuate
selection of the documents to be preserved.
